GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR ADJUSTING BRASS AND NITROPHYL FLOATS. Two methods of float adjustment are provided for with Holley performance carburetors depending on the style of float bowl and needle and seat assembly employed. They are the internal (dry) setting and the external (wet) setting.

Turn the nut until the fuel level just barely starts to trickle out of the side hole. Tighten the screw on top of the nut. Put the side plug back in. Thats it! Every holley needed some type of adjustment even a 570 street avenger has adjustments . I had a bit of an idle problem when it is cold but after it warms up its alright.
