The Jeans and Jersey are the basic clothes you begin the game with. 10% Damage Reduction. The first hat you unlock is the Baseball Cap which provide additional protection and damage with throwable weapons. Most games alleviate these inconveniences the farther you progress and Dysmantle does this well. Yes you cant fast travel between the Underworld and the main game, but this is hardly limited to Dymantle in design. Upon completion I was psyched to finally be able to travel to link towers from anywhere, then read about the campfire and was trying to figure out how the heck to install the fix to the towers. For the Underground, you'll have to return to the first campfire and go climb back up. (Not until after you beat that DLC is a shorter path available.) (This DLC is is probably the worst in travel between the main island and this area.) For Doomsday, you'll have to return to the first campfire, but at least it is a short walk to the drone-cage.
