Prior “Clinical” Nursing Program (LVN, LPN, RN, or higher nursing degree) Per School of Nursing policy, candidates who were not in “good” standing at the time of withdrawal are not eligible to apply to any program in the Sac State, School of Nursing for a period of 5 calendar years.
In 2023, the cost for SAC's two-year RN degree was approximately $6,000, compared to $60,000 or more at a private college. The new approval and accreditation status comes as the 200-student Registered Nursing program moved into the new 55,563-square-foot, state-of-the-art Health Sciences Building in early 2024.
